Civil
Our firm represents education and tort crossovers. These claims include bullying, Section 504 of the Health and Rehabilitation Act, violation of IDEA, denial of due process, equal protection, and appeals from OAH decisions. We also ensure compliance with the California Government Tort Claims Act.
Family
We have developed a special niche for assisting families experiencing a dissolution of marriage with special needs children. We have particular expertise in child custody and visitation matters. We also handle highly complex financial issues.
Education
We represent disabled children from the ages of three to twenty two. We ensure that their school districts provide them with the appropriate programming and services, as guaranteed by law. We also represent Student’s claiming Title IX infractions. We have special expertise in Student discipline, including suspensions and expulsions.

A game changer in the IEP process.
We hired Andrea to represent our family in the IEP process for our special needs son, while my wife was dying of leukemia. Andrea made a promise to my wife before she died that she would take care of our son. Andrea stood by her promise, and the results have been nothing short of amazing! My son started middle school grieving the loss of his mother, and struggling with ADHD, anxiety, and Tourette's. Our experience before hiring Andrea was that we were bullied and condescended upon by the public school district. With Andrea as our son's advocate, the school totally changed their attitude. Andrea professionally and forcefully pushed for what our son needed, even when the conversations with the school became contentious.
